ABM counsellors are mothers who have enjoyed breastfeeding their babies, and have completed a training course enabling them to help other mothers to overcome problems experienced during breastfeeding. Provides a counselling and information service, quarterly magazine, information leaflets and posters, electric breast pump hire, and annual meetings.

Aims to share ideas, skills and information with colleagues and clients. Helps midwives develop their role as advocates for women's active participation in maternity care. The Disabled Parents Network is a national organisation that provides information for carers, parents with disabilities, or people with disabilities hoping to become parents, as well as their families. Aims to enable parents to have an experience of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood that enriches their lives and gives them confidence in being a parent.
