Continence/Incontinence

Multi-disciplinary organisation for health and social care professionals, with a special interest in incontinence. As such, it does not have a direct interface with the general public.

The Bladder and Bowel Foundation (B&BF) is the UK charity for people with bladder and bowel control problems. Formed in 2008, it replaces incontact (formed in 1989) and the Continence Foundation (closed May 2008). B&BF provides information and support services for adult patients, their familes, carers and healthcare professionals. It is not funded by the Government or NHS and relies solely on the financial support of companies, individuals and grants to fund its work.

Provides support for people with bowel and bladder problems.

Provide information and support on childhood bedwetting, daytime wetting and soiling. Provide support via a telephone helpline, message boards and a comprehensive website . Sells a range of books, bedding protection and enuresis alarms.

A national service which provides independent and impartial information on continence products and services for adults and children. A display of products and equipment is available on site, and the website has information available to download. Clinical and product specialists provide impartial, evidence based advice and information to callers. Helpline available 9am-4pm Mon-Fri.

Aims to assist all who are about to undergo, or have undergone surgery resulting in the diversion or removal of the bladder with such information, help and support as may be necessary to assist them to resume as full a life as possible with every confidence.
