Offers an information service for children and adults who find using standard computer equipment and systems challenging and offers advice on adaptive computer technology. Activities include consultancy and assessment services to assist in choice and use of computer equipment at work and at home. Creating a National searchable Database of the products, skills and services disabled people have to offer, registration on the Database is free and it is free for anyone to use to find a local disabled person who is able to provide that product or service they were looking for. New on the website is an eJobs Portal which gives disabled job seekers an opportunity to search for and apply on-line for jobs targeted directly at the disabled job seeker. www.disabledworkers.org.uk

Provides a range of support to jobseekers and employers, and help is provided to the majority of jobseekers through Jobcentre Plus mainstream services. Reach helps voluntary organisations benefit from the business, managerial, technical and professional expertise of people who want to offer their career skills, working as volunteers. This is achieved by recruiting and supporting men and women and placing them in part-time, unpaid roles with nearby voluntary organisations throughout the UK - for free. There are no age limits. Open Mon-Fr 9.30am-5pm.

National provider of Education, Training and Employment for people who are blind and partially sighted. Range of services offered includes a family support service which includes a purpose built pre-school and specialist support workers at Great Ormond Street and Moorfields Eye Hospital. Education from pre-school to further education, based at Dorton House School and Dorton College of Further Education. The School and College offer residential and day places. The Society's training division, Dorton Training Services, based in London, provides, rehabilitation and vocational training, whilst the Industrial Services offers employment and training opportunities in Engineering. The Society's Employment Services offers support into and during employment through its Workbridge operations. The Department also provides support for homeworkers and people employed under the sheltered Placement Scheme.
