Organises subsidised group holidays for physically disabled children and adults with the support of volunteer helpers so that the family carers can have a separate period of respite. Mobilise is a self help organisation formed by the merger of the Disabled Drivers Motor Club and the Disabled Drivers Association. Runs an information service for both members and groups and a confidential telephone and mail answering service. Matters typically referred include DLA (mobility component) and Motability matters, driving licences, insurance availability, driving assessment, vehicle and adaptation choices. Offers advice for people who have a physical disability who wish to ski independently with their families or friends. Focuses on the three top French ski resorts with accessible accommodation - Tignes, La Plagne and Avoriaz. Provide towards the cost of helpers of severely disabled people on holidays where these costs cannot be met by the helper, or from any other source, and where the disabled person would be unable to go on holiday without someone to assist him or her with everyday needs. Applications on the Trust's own forms must be supported by a bona fide organisation, doctor or social worker, willing to verify that the applicant meets the scheme's requirements. Minimum age is 17 years. Assistance towards holidays provided by local authorities will not be considered.

National Christian charity working with disabled people to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through the provision of care, employment and housing. Groom's Holidays is one of several operating divisions of John Grooms. Aim to assist around 2,000 children with disabilities mainly from the British Isles, in making a pilgrimage to Lourdes at Easter and to ensure adequate provision of voluntary medical and nursing helpers to accompany them. Also to provide accommodation for other people with disabilities at a specially adapted house near Lourdes between Easter and November in two groups a week, each of 40 to 50 pilgrims.
