The following types of adapted WC flush are available:
- spatula flush handles - long lever-shaped handles with a large flattened end which does not have to be gripped and may be operated using the palm of the hand or elbow. They will fit onto most ceramic WCs;
- electric flushes - low voltage, remote control flushing system operated by a touch-button, push-button or electric sensor;
- foot controls - these are activated by a floor-fixed control. However, the user may need good balance to operate this style of control.
